Henrietta Butler Photographer specialises in portraits, reportage and performing arts photography. She was the Arts photographer for The Guardian from 1992 to 1997 and 1999 to 2001, also doing portraits and features for The Guardian Weekend. During this time she also did production and publicity photography, largely for the RSC, the Royal Court, the National Theatre, the Royal Opera House and the BBC. Since 1998 she has also produced feature stories, notably for The Independent on Saturday and The Sunday Times magazines, stills for Oxford Film & TV, including the 2004 BAFTA best documentary winner, The Trust, and portraits for Le Monde. Her work is syndicated by Camera Press and Corbis and the performing arts agencies, Redferns and Arena/PAL.
